About Us:

UW Parents on Campus was created to address the needs of students who happen to be parents enrolled at the University of Waterloo.   We are a group that is growing in numbers and, as such, is working to provide services such as networking parents at UW with other parents, providing child friendly spaces and activities, offering advice on available services on campus and in the K-W area, and, arguably most importantly, acting as a voice for these students in times when it is clear certain needed services are not easily accessible or are unavailable.

Our Mandate:

1. To help facilitate a supportive environment on campus for students and parents
   of any gender and orientation, and to be an on campus
   presence for these students
2. To provide resources and information to parents and parents-to-be
   that will help to enrich their experience both as parents and as students at UW, and take into consideration their unique needs.
3. To arrange on campus social events that take into consideration this
   unique demographic and offer events that are child and partner (if applicable) friendly.
